Market Commentary:

Dow Jones Industrials (07/03/2013):

Head-And_Shoulders correction about to resume. The Dow Jones has moved at a rather steep angle since November of 2012. And, it has continued the move in a smooth upward trend. Only recently has it taken a small correction, moving off the top above 15,000 down about 25% to its current level. If you count back to the beginning of the up-move in 2011, the correction currently in effect took the Dow BACK to the PLUS 50% level above the high in April 2012. In other words, the move up has been pretty dramatic.

The SunnyBands indicator (not shown here, but available for purchase) is currently flat, with the DMA (Sunny's Dynamic Moving Average) also flat. Price is right above the DMA, which generally means that movement is indecisive. We can't tell (because of congestion) whether the market is likely to move up or down next. Personally, in my own trading, I'm betting that the Dow will move down from the DMA, toward the lower SunnyBand (which lies at 14,692). From there I expect the correction to end temporarily and bounce back up for more channel-type up and down motion.

S&P 500 EMini (07/05/2013):
ES
Price currently just above flat DMA, heading for upper SunnyBand. When the DMA (Sunny's Dynamic Moving Average) is flat, that indicates that no direction is currently in effect. The EMini is not quite in tune with the Dow. Yes, they are both in indecision. But, the EMini shows more upward promise at the moment. In my own trading I am expecting the EMini to move up to the Inner SunnyBand, which currently lies at 1647.12 on the front month. In Friday's short session (because of the holiday), the EMini closed at 1629.50. Thus, there are about 45 points of upward movement available in the next 8-10 sessions. Check in later for more information.
